It was bound to happen. Someone has gone and made marshmallow Peeps-style treats that look like the poop emoji, and it’s amazing. My first thought was, “Dang! Why didn’t I think of that?” But I didn’t. Matthew Cetta of the blog Nomageddon did.

Cetta wrote up a tutorial for creating your own, but we had to ask him how he came up with this treat. “I actually thought up the idea because I love wordplay,” he told SheKnows. “I thought up the phrase poop Peeps randomly in the shower, and the idea kind of coalesced from there.” That totally does sound like a connection you’d make in the shower, right?
“There is no shortage of tutorials on how to make your own Peeps on the Internet,” Cetta added. (Yup, there is definitely no shortage of DIY Peeps tutorials.) “So I just adapted a few and made them look like the pile of poo we all know and love.”

But is it weird to take a bite out of poo, even if it’s just sugar-coated marshmallow poo? “When I took my first bite of the finished product, I have to admit there was some hesitation,” Cetta said. “But they actually are delicious. No pun intended, they are chocolaty!”
Sure they are. Has he gotten anyone else to eat them yet? “Ha-ha, I’m still working my way through a Tupperware container of leftover poops. I even gave some to my parents. I never thought I’d say this, but my mother and father ate my shit and liked it.”
