Peanut butter pretzels with raspberry jam dip

For something different, try putting peanut butter-filled pretzels on a skewer. There will be a few casualties, where the pretzel may crack, so you'll just have to eat those.

There is oftentimes a little hole in the bottom of the pretzel, which makes it easier to put it on a skewer.

Try drizzling some raspberry preserve and sour cream dip on top of these pretzel skewers, and it might make you think of PB&Js for a moment.

Serves 2

Total time: 15 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups peanut butter-filled pretzel nibblers (plus some extra, if needed)
  • 1/4 cup plus 2 tablespoons sour cream
  • 1/4 cup plus 2 tablespoons nonfat Greek yogurt
  • 3 tablespoons red raspberry preserves

Directions:

  1. To a medium-size bowl, add the sour cream, yogurt and raspberry preserves. Whisk together, and set aside in the fridge.
  2. Starting at one end of the pretzel, carefully slide each pretzel onto a wooden skewer. If there is already a hole in the end of the pretzel, use that for the skewer. Some of the pretzels may break, but the majority of them should be fine.
  3. Serve the pretzel skewers with the raspberry preserve dip.
