Hard candy shot glasses — fun to make, more fun to use

Candy-making can be kind of scary, but these easy shot glasses are surprisingly simple.

Usually making candy involves a terrifying pot of molten sugar, a super-sticky cleanup and, um, lots of anxiety. But Sprinkle Bakes has discovered a way to streamline the process so that it's shockingly easy to make your own colorful candy shot glasses.

Instead of making your hard candy from scratch, all you have to do is buy your favorite hard candy discs at the store. You can choose any flavor, from butterscotch to peppermint to fruit. For tools, all you'll need is a silicone shot glass mold and an oven. That's right — the candy actually melts directly into the silicone mold, meaning there are no candy-coated pots, pans and utensils to cry over when you're done.

You just layer the candies into the mold, then bake until they are melted. Yeah, it's literally that easy. The whole process, from setup to cool-down, takes just an hour, so you have no excuse to not make them for your next party — other than not wanting to share your candy with the guests, which I think we can all relate to.
