10 Kid foods you could never stomach as an adult

Let's take a quick trip down memory lane. What was your favorite food as a kid? As an adult with mature taste buds and a better understanding of how your gastrointestinal tract works, would you ever dare eat it today?

I don't know about you, but I was all about white bread when I was a kid. This was probably because my mom "deprived" me of white bread in favor of wheat, since she wanted me to be healthy. The nerve. Nowadays, if I eat a sandwich made with white bread and deli meat, I have to suppress my gag reflex. I guess my mom knew what she was talking about.

One extensive Reddit thread takes kid food nostalgia to a whole new level. Behold, 10 of your favorite kid foods that may turn your stomach as an adult:

1. Cap'n Crunch cereal

The truth according to Reddit: "Most cheese in store-bought ravioli tastes disgusting. Plus, you could get things like butternut squash ravioli, or spinach ravioli, or mushroom ravioli... Why get cheese when you have all these possibilities?! I ate cheese ravioli like once a week when I was a kid — that Bertolli brand that they sell in the grocery store."

3. Chicken nuggets

4. Circus peanuts
