Salmon and dill potato latkes you'll want to eat year-round (VIDEO)

I mean, you've got your smoked salmon, you've got your luscious dill-infused crème fraîche, and best of all, you've got those amazing little deep-fried patties. What's not to love? Whether for a Hanukkah celebration or a cocktail party in June, these little bites are something you should definitely have in your recipe box.

Potato latkes with smoked salmon and dill recipe


For the latkes

  • 2 pounds potatoes
  • 2 onions
  • 1 egg, lightly beaten
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • Salt and pepper
  • Olive oil
For the garnish
  • 6 thin slices smoked salmon
  • A few sprigs dill
  • 1 cup crème fraîche
