The fastest way to thaw a turkey (VIDEO)

If you woke up in a panic this morning because your turkey is still frozen solid, don't cancel Thanksgiving. Take a breath, make a bloody mary (this is a very important step), and calm down. There's still time to save your dinner.

We've all had our share of fails when making a holiday dinner. Maybe you burned the rolls (I happen to be an expert in this particular area), maybe you dropped the pie, maybe you drank a little too much wine and added sugar to the mashed potatoes instead of salt. (Wine will do that to you...) But dinner can still go on with burnt rolls, pie shoveled off the floor and sweet mashed potatoes.

Forgetting to thaw the turkey, though? That just might be the last Thanksgiving dinner you host. Thanksgiving = turkey. End of story. So finish that bloody mary, watch this handy video, and save Thanksgiving.

And now that your turkey is suitably thawed, make sure it's cooked to perfection. You get only one turkey "oops" per holiday, and if you screw up the bird at this point, you might be calling for Chinese takeout.
