Bejo Seeds, who supplies farmers with kale seeds around the globe, has run out of stock. And now the hippest green of them all could be in short supply.
What are you waiting for? Get those kale smoothies blended and kale chips baked before it’s too late. Or not. I know that some people think kale is magical and that it even tastes good, but I don’t happen to be one of those people. I know… Gasp, right?
Try as I might (OK, I didn’t really try that hard), I’ve never been able to jump onto the kale bandwagon. For my money, I’ll take a number of other greens any day. And hey, spinach and Swiss chard aren’t exactly junk food. They’re both chock full of nutrients, just like their beloved (albeit limited) cousin.
So until kale is in bountiful supply again, branch out with some other leafy greens.
