- 12 ounces spaghetti
- 2 cups broccoli florets
- 1/2 teaspoon minced garlic
- 1/2 cup shredded Parmesan cheese, plus extra for topping
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons slivered almonds
- 5 basil leaves
- 1/4 cup plus 3 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
- In a large pot, bring water to a boil. Add the spaghetti noodles, and cook according to the package instructions.
- Into a food processor, add the rest of the ingredients. Blend until it reaches a smooth consistency. Remove, and toss with the drained noodles.
