3 Unique peppermint cocktails

'Tis the season for adding peppermint to everything! These holiday-inspired cocktails are filled with and topped with sweet peppermint, giving each taste a fabulously minty and festive ring. Plus, they're boozy!

From pretty in pink peppermint eggnog to a skinny shake you can drink without the guilt, these fabulous peppermint shakes will have you singing fa la la la la all night long. Just watch out, they might also place you under the mistletoe with that IT boy you've been eyeing at your holiday party.


Peppermint white chocolate cocktail

 3 unique peppermint cocktails

Slightly adapted from Cooking with Sugar

Yields 2 cocktails.


  • 4 ounces vanilla vodka
  • 2 ounces peppermint schnapps
  • 2 ounces white chocolate liqueur
  • 2 ounces light cream
  • 4 candy canes, chopped
  • 1/4 cup melted white chocolate


  1. Drizzle the white chocolate into two glasses and chill for about 30 minutes so it sets.
  2. Meanwhile, shake the vodka, schnapps, white chocolate liqueur and light cream in a cocktail shaker filled 1/3 full with ice.
  3. Once white chocolate in the glass has set, dip the tops in more melted chocolate. Crush the candy canes and place in a shallow bowl. Dip the lid of the glass in the chopped candies.
  4. Pour the cocktail into the prepared glass and enjoy!

Skinny boozy peppermint shake

Serves about 2


  • About 3 cups Arctic Zero mint chocolate chip frozen dessert
  • 1/4 cup dark chocolate vodka
  • 1/4 cup fat-free milk
  • 1/4 teaspoon peppermint extract
  • 2 tablespoons chocolate chips
  • Crushed peppermint candies for garnish
  • Whipped cream for garnish
  • Chocolate shavings


  1. Place all of the ingredients (except the candy canes, whipped cream and chocolate shavings) in a blender. Pulse on low until mixture is thick and creamy. Pour into a glass and garnish with whipped cream, crushed candy canes and chocolate shavings.

Peppermint eggnog with a twist

Yields about 2-1/2 cups


  • 3 eggs
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1/4 cup white sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon peppermint extract
  • 1/2 tablespoon vanilla
  • 1-2/3 cups whole milk or cream
  • 1/3 cup whipped cream vodka
  • 8 pieces peppermint candy
  • About 2 ounces white chocolate
  • Red food dye
  • 1/4 cup whipped cream
