Coffee and chocolate taste great together right? And chocolate and raspberry is a match made in heaven. Can you imagine how amazing the taste would be if all three flavors are combined? Now you don’t have to imagine anymore. You can make this in your very own kitchen. It’s easy and so tasty.

Try dressing it up by topping it with whole fresh raspberries, and you’ll have yourself a wonderful iced beverage that looks as good as it tastes.

Iced raspberry cafe mocha recipe

Serves 3


For the raspberry cocoa mixture

  • 1 cup water
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 cup fresh raspberries
  • 1 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa powder

For the cafe mocha

  • 4 cups brewed coffee, chilled
  • 1 cup raspberry cocoa mixture
  • 3/4 cup milk or cream
  • Sugar or sugar substitute (sweeten to taste)
  • 4 cups ice
  • 12 whole fresh raspberries (for garnish)


For the raspberry cocoa mixture

  1. In a small saucepan, add the water, sugar, raspberries and cocoa powder.
  2. Heat the pan on low to medium heat. Stir the mixture as the raspberries cook down and the mixture thickens. Cook for about 10 minutes.
  3. Pour the raspberry mixture through a fine strainer.
  4. Set aside the liquid and let cool.

For the cafe mocha

  1. Pour the coffee into the serving glasses.
  2. Then add the raspberry cocoa liquid into the glasses and stir.
  3. Add the milk or cream, and the sugar or sugar substitute.
  4. Stir all ingredients together.
  5. Add the ice, garnish with the whole raspberries, and serve immediately.
