Valentine’s Day dessert: Glazed Apple Wedges

Glazed Apple Wedges

Serves 4

Ingredients:

    t

  • 4 Granny Smith apples, peeled, cored, cut into wedges
  • t

  • 1 teaspoon vegetable oil
  • t

  • 1/2 cup chopped, dried apricots
  • t

  • 2 ActiFry spoons maple syrup or honey
  • t

  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Directions:

  1. Place the apple wedges in a bowl.
  2. t

  3. Toss the apples with the oil to coat wedges evenly.
  4. t

  5. Place the apples in the ActiFry pan (as suggested by T-fal). Cook for 10 minutes.
  6. t

  7. Add the apricots, maple syrup and cinnamon.
  8. t

  9. Cook for 8 to 10 minutes or until apples are tender and well-glazed.

Cook’s note: You can substitute dried cranberries or raisins for the apricots.
