Vegan Chocolate Cake with Fruit

Ingredients:

  • 1 (18.5-ounce) box Betty Crocker Chocolate Cake Mix
  • t

  • 1-3/4 cup vegan plain yogurt
  • t

  • 1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce
  • t

  • Powdered sugar
  • t

  • Orange slices, berries, or other fruit

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease and flour a 13×9-inch baking dish.

  3. In a large bowl, beat together cake mix, yogurt, and applesauce until blended and smooth.

  5. Pour batter into the prepared baking dish.

  7. Bake according to box directions or until a cake tester inserted in the center comes out clean.

  9. Transfer to a wire rack and allow cake to cool.
