Garlic Herb Tofu

Serves 8

Ingredients:

  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • t

  • 1 (16-ounce) package firm tofu, drained, pressed, patted dry
  • t

  • 1 garlic clove, chopped
  • t

  • 3 green onions, sliced
  • t

  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro
  • t

  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
  • t

  • 2 tablespoons tahini
  • t

  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • t

  • 1 tablespoon mirin
  • t

  • 2 tablespoons tamari

Directions:

    t

  1. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. t

  3. Slice tofu into thick slices and cook 3 to 4 minutes each side or until lightly browned.
  4. t

  5. Meanwhile, combine remaining ingredients in a small food processor and puree.
  6. t

  7. Serve tofu slices drizzled with garlic sauce.
