Pecan Cranberry Grits

  • 1 cup stone-ground cornmeal (dry grits)

  • 1/2 cup dried cranberries

  • 3 tablespoons vegan butter
  • t

  • 1/2 cup coarsely chopped pecans
  • t

  • Freshly ground black pepper to taste

Directions:

  1. In a medium saucepan over high heat, bring water to a boil.

  3. Whisk in cornmeal. Reduce heat to medium-low and cook, stirring occasionally, for 15 minutes or until mixture is thick.
