Not-Your-Canned Cranberry Sauce

Ingredients:

  • 1 (12-ounce) bag fresh cranberries

  • 1/3 cup water
  • t

  • Grated zest and juice of 1 orange
  • t

  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar
  • t

  • 1 tablespoon grated fresh ginger

Directions:

  1. In a saucepan over medium-high heat, combine all ingredients.

  3. Bring to a boil, stirring often, then lower heat to medium-low. Simmer, stirring occasionally, until cranberries pop, about 10 minutes.
