Listen up Fifty Shades of Grey fans: The trailer is now live

It’s probably the most highly anticipated film for women across the globe, and now we are finally treated to a teaser of just how awesome the film Fifty Shades of Grey will be, thanks to a newly released trailer.

Fifty Shades of Grey, the hotly anticipated film adaptation by Sam Taylor-Johnson of the best-selling books by E L James, has finally released its trailer.

The two-minute long trailer shows Steele’s first meeting with her sadomasochistic, billionaire lover as she heads to his office to interview him. Their meeting is then turned into a whirlwind romance jam-packed with seduction and sexual adventure.

The global launch of the trailer set the scene for the appearance of the film’s stars, Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson (who will play Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele) on NBC’s The Today Show this morning, but it’s also generating a lot of excitement about the forthcoming film.

Grey’s lavish lifestyle is made clear in the trailer, and it’s complemented with a sample of the soundtrack to Beyoncé’s new version of her hit track “Crazy in Love” — who teased the trailer several days ago via her Instagram account.

Fifty Shades of Grey is being directed by British director and Turner Prize nominee Sam Taylor-Johnson and produced by Michael De Luca and Dana Brunetti alongside James. It will hit theaters on Valentine’s Day 2015 while the trailer will hit theaters tomorrow, Friday, July 25, before screenings of Universal’s Lucy.

Other cast members include pop star Rita Ora as Christian’s sister Mia, Luke Grimes, Jennifer Ehle, Marcia Gay Harden, Max Martini, Eloise Mumford and Dylan Neal.
