Fans of Game of Thrones know all about waiting for a show to return to TV. An HBO executive finally gave them a little good news this week: a window of time in which they can look for the series to return. At the Television Critics Association, HBO programming president Casey Bloys said the series will return for its final season in the first half of 2019, according to Vox.
While having that answer at least feels like something, 2019 is months away, and there’s so much great television to be enjoyed now that summer is ending. This fall, we still get to see zombies and superheroes, but we also continue to learn how Jack Pearson’s family held together after his death on This Is Us and see how Ryan Murphy envisions an apocalypse in season eight of American Horror Story.
