Queen Elizabeth II & Prince Philip Through the Years: Their Love Story in Photos

Through their 70 years of marriage (the first royal couple to reach this milestone!), Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip have shared one kingdom, four kids, eight grandchildren, five great-grandchildren (with two more on the way), a million flirty glances and even more laughs.

And it all started when Elizabeth was just 13 years old.

"The first time I remember meeting Philip was at the Royal Naval College, Dartmouth, in July 1934, just before the war. I was 13 years of age and he was 18 and a cadet," she recalled in a letter.

And the rest, as they say, is history — one we've all followed very closely.

Turning 92 this year, the queen has not only made quite the impression as the longest reigning monarch in British history — but Prince Philip has made an impression as well, since they wed in 1947. Today, we're taking a look back at the happy royal couple through the years.
