OK, so the former Kate Middleton apparently can't be a bridesmaid at Pippa Middleton's wedding this weekend, but that doesn't mean the sisters aren't thick as thieves.

Pippa and Kate have seen each other through some crazy life transitions (hello, going from a commoner to a royal can't be easy)  — and they've done it looking super cute. In honor of Pippa's latest transition from single to married, we're taking a look back at these two through the years.

Look at those little faces!

Kate and Pippa didn't grow up royalty, but they were born into a rather well-to-do family. Their parents run a successful party-planning company called Party Pieces.

2 /13: Model behavior

Pippa and Kate lead professional lives now, but they both did a little turn on the catwalk back in the day. That's right, the sisters worked as models in the early '00s.

3/13 :Career ambitions

Before Kate became a full-time princess, she worked as a project manager for the Middleton family business.

Pippa also worked for Party Pieces at one point as an editor for their magazine Party Times. She's also contributed to Vanity Fair and The Telegraph.

4/13 :Paparazzi magnets

Paparazzi were obviously all over Kate when she was dating Prince William, but rumor has it that Pippa is trying extra hard to keep her personal relationships private and away from the media.

5/13 :Out and about

Before Kate married Prince William, she and Pippa were just normal sisters who enjoyed a fun night out on the town.

"Yeah, we do we have a very normal, sisterly relationship," Pippa said in a 2014 interview, via E! News. "We're very close. And, you know, we support each other and get each other's opinions and things."

6 /13: Not just party girls

6/13 :Not just party girls

Pippa has somehow earned a reputation as someone who doesn't take life too seriously, but she's not very fond of the image spun by the press.

"People see me as someone privileged who has used my position to advantage; that I don't really work, that I am a socialite — that word really irritates me — and that I'm a party girl without any substance," she said in a 2016 interview.

7/13 :Life in the public eye

Kate and Pippa always seem so graceful when they're out, but Pippa admits that being in the public eye isn't always easy.

"I have had a few years of being in the public eye and I have developed something of a thick skin," Pippa said in an interview with the Daily Mail. "But managing it all on my own has been quite hard. I have quite a lot thrown at me, such as being followed by people hiding behind cars and jumping out with cameras. It can be unnerving."

8 /13: Just a normal family

8/13 :Just a normal family

Her sister is married to the future king of England, but Pippa says the wedding of the century was really NBD.

"It sounds funny to say, but we saw it as just a family wedding. And actually, I didn't realize, perhaps, the scale of it until afterwards," she told Matt Lauer of William and Kate's 2011 nuptials. "We all took on the roles as any family would."

9 /13: No wedding party here

9/13 :No wedding party here

Pippa got a ton of attention for being Kate's maid of honor, but Kate won't be performing the duty for Pippa's upcoming ceremony.

But there's no love lost here. A royal expert says Kate is hanging back so she doesn't steal Pippa's thunder.

10 /13: Picture-perfect

10/13 :Picture-perfect

Kate's evolved into a picture-perfect princess, and something tells us she couldn't have done it without Pippa's love and support.

11 /13: Fashion queens

11/13 :Fashion queens

So they aren't the actual Queens of England, but their fashion game is always on point.

We'll take one of each of those hats, please.

12 /13: Tennis, anyone?

Attending sporting events is a huge part of royal life, and Kate and Pippa are happy to join in on the tradition.

13 /13: Off to church

13/13 :Off to church

Going to church is obviously a Middleton family affair (Kate and Pippa's brother, James Middleton, is also in this picture), and we're willing to bet it helps keep them so close.
