Brown, who was found unresponsive in a bathtub in January, spent weeks in hospice care, during which the feud between her relatives got increasingly ugly. First, TMZ reported that an extended family member was shopping a photo of Whitney Houston’s daughter lying on her bed at a hospice facility. Her aunt Leolah Brown later unleashed a public rant against the Houston side of the family, specifically Pat Houston. Brown’s funeral was marred with family drama, when the two at-odds aunts reportedly got into an altercation.
Caitlyn Jenner made countless headlines this year after opening up about her transition through several hugely public interviews and her show, I Am Cait. But she also stirred up some controversy when she was involved in a deadly chain-reaction crash in February. The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department has said Jenner was not driving over the speed limit, but was driving “at an unsafe speed for the road conditions that day.” Though the reality show star initially faced possible misdemeanor or manslaughter charges, the DA eventually declined to press charges against Jenner.

The Real Housewives of New York star Kristen Taekman’s husband, Josh Taekman, was caught in a scandal, when his name surfaced among the more than 37 million Ashley Madison account holders whose personal information was leaked. He later released a statement to E!
