Just a little under a year following his untimely passing, the Los Angeles home of Ray Liotta has sold for $5 million to a lucky couple from Palm Beach, Florida. Liotta, who was known for his roles in films like Goodfellas, Field of Dreams, and Heartbreakers, first purchased the Mediterranean-style estate in 2003 and lived there for the remainder of his life.
The 6,100-square foot home is nestled in the exclusive gated community Summit of the Palisades Highlands in the Pacific Palisades and boasts five bedrooms and six bathrooms. High ceilings and nearly floor-to-wall windows make the already expansive space feel even larger. The estate also features plenty of outdoor entertaining space, complete with pool and hot tub — perfect for some al fresco dining or a glass of wine with friends after a long day. Oh, and did we mention it has an ocean view? See all the photos from Dirt HERE.
Last May, Liotta died in his sleep at the age of 67 in the Dominican Republic while filming the yet-to-be-released thriller Dangerous Waters. The actor was posthumously awarded a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in February 2023.
The stucco and terracotta-roofed home is fronted with a perfectly manicured courtyard. Quite the view to enjoy from the second-level porch!
No matter where you are in the home, be it this cozy living room complete with a fireplace or in the outdoor entertaining area, there is always a view. The large window in this living room allows for so much natural light and makes the large space even more impressive.
A Gourmet Kitchen
The home’s sleek and modern kitchen features an impressive eat-in island topped with marble, making it perfect for a casual meal or food prep. Like the rest of the home, the kitchen also boasts large windows that provide loads of natural light.
A Luxurious Guest Room
Have more than one person on an extended stay? No worries. The house features a gorgeous guest bedroom with an unreal view of the mountains and ocean. There is plenty of room for groups to stay with space for multiple beds and a complete guest bathroom just downstairs.
An Oceanview Breakfast Nook
What better way to have your morning coffee than in a breakfast nook that looks out to the ocean? The house’s breakfast nook is flooded with natural light and has immediate access to the outdoor area.
Really, there are no words for the breathtaking view from the backyard. A hot tub sits nestled just above a pool, which overlooks the Santa Monica Mountains and Pacific OCean. Sunbathing, entertaining, dining — there are really so many ways to utilize this stunning outdoor space.
