Celebrities Who Accidentally Matched on the 2023 Met Gala Red Carpet

Whether you love it or hate it, there’s no denying that the Met Gala is the pinnacle of luxury and fashion when it comes to red carpet events. For some celebrities that go every year, like Kim Kardashian or Rihanna, picking the night’s outfit is much more than looking through a lookbook or a clothes rack. Instead, a whole team of stylists, designers, artists, and many more come together to build the vision of their looks.

And, knowing the extensive work that goes behind every look that graces the steps of the Met, it’s even more shocking when stars accidentally twin on the carpet. Sure, it doesn’t happen every time, but it’s definitely still a bit of a suprise when it does.

At the 2023 Met Gala, for example, Don’t Worry Darling director Olivia Wilde twinned with Vogue China Editor-in-Chief Margaret Zhang in a Karl Lagerfeld-inspired gown. Though the two made it their own, it definitely had us all doing a double-take.
