While we can’t deny our love for the vibrant, colorful looks of the world, something about a good black and white outfit just makes our fashion-filled hearts jump with joy. For those who were staring at the 2023 Met Gala red carpet as intensely as we were, then chances are that you noticed a pattern in the looks as well: there were so many black and white looks!
It’s true; nearly every other look on the red carpet was a mystifying monochromatic ensemble that fit the star like a glove. While we also got some stunning all-white looks from stars like Rihanna and Anne Hathaway, and daring black looks from Lily James and Jessica Chastain; we got even more looks combining the two shades.
