In October of 2022, Hollywood lost a legend with the passing of Angela Lansbury. From Bedknobs and Broomsticks to Murder, She Wrote, Lansbury’s incredible talent captivated viewers for many decades. And, in early April, a few months after her passing, her charming Brentwood home was listed on behalf of her family, including her three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren, for just under $4.5 million, per Dirt. Now, only a reported 11 days since hitting the market, the place has been sold for $4.9 million, per Daily Mail.
The property, built in 1962 and bought by Lansbury in 1985, was the actress’ residence for almost 40 years. Talk about the history this place has! The single-story home, which spans over 3,700 square feet, includes four bedrooms and four bathrooms.
Inside the home, rustic terracotta tile floors bring a sense of warmth while the French doors, skylights, and multiple white-trimmed windows deliver the natural light of sunny California. Among the main features of the home are the fireside dining room that overlooks the backyard, an ultra-cozy master suite with two skylights, and one of the most spacious master bathrooms we’ve ever seen.
According to Dirt, however, the home’s best feature lies outside in the garden. Per the outlet, Lansbury, who was a gardener herself, created an English-style garden with multiple specimen trees. What a legacy!
