It’s time to get excited, because one of the biggest award shows for actors is only days away! First started in 1995, the Screen Actors Guild Awards (also commonly known as the SAG Awards) are all about honoring outstanding acting performances in both television and film. Along with the Golden Globes and the Oscars, the SAG Awards are known as one of the major awards for the film industry.
On Feb 26, stars from all over will come for the 29th Annual SAG Awards, and we already know this year is going to be unlike any before. Not only is it going to be different because it’ll be streamed on Netflix instead of TNT and TBS, but we know the red carpet fashion will be sensational.
Over the years, we’ve seen some spectacular looks on the SAG red carpet, especially when it comes to elaborate ballgowns and dresses. Think about it: there’s Jennifer Garner’s silk red dress from the early 2000s, Halle Berry’s showstopping gowns over the years, and all of the show-stopping dresses from the 2022 SAG Awards — and that’s just the tip of the iceberg!
Ahead of the 29th Annual SAG Awards, let’s take a trip back through SAG memory lane and see the best 29 looks of all time from the SAG Red Carpet. Check out our favorites below, and don’t forget to see our live coverage of the star-studded event!
