When you think about Jim Carrey, you think about his zany characters who are almost always larger than life. So, obviously, you’d think he comes home to something just as loud, colorful, and eccentric. However, that couldn’t be further from the truth because his abode is the definition of minimalism.
In the past week, the Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind actor listed his two-acre Brentwood estate that he’s called home for the past nearly 30 years. While people aren’t entirely sure why he’s saying goodbye to it, he’s dropping his home at a seriously hefty price: for nearly $29 million (or $28.9 million if you want to be technical!)
Now, not only is this mansion the pinnacle of idyllic living, but it’s huge. With over 12,000 square feet of land, the home has five bedrooms, six full bathrooms, along with three half bathrooms. The brick haven has been kept under wraps for decades, but now, all eyes are on Carrey’s soon-to-be former home, and everyone is wondering: which superstar will live here for the next 30?
