As we all get ready to watch Shotgun Wedding on Prime Video on Jan 27, the star-studded cast is making us wish the release date was even earlier, thanks to their gorgeous premiere outfits.
The cast, which is led by romantic-comedy masters Jennifer Lopez and Josh Duhamel, also includes a lineup of familiar faces including Jennifer Coolidge, Lenny Kravitz, D’Arcy Carden, Cheech Martin, and Sônia Braga.
In the upcoming movie, Lopez and Duhamel play a couple on the brink of their dream destination wedding — until they start getting cold feet. As the two begin to bicker, their wedding gets invaded by — wait for it — a band of pirates who take the couple’s guests hostage. Talk about bad luck!
“What I love about the movie and what I think [director Jason] Moore did such a great job on is that he wasn’t afraid to make this a big romp of a movie,” Duhamel told SheKnows in a press conference last week. “It’s a big romantic comedy but it’s more of a romantic action movie,” Lopez chimed in. A rom-com-act, maybe?
For a big movie like this, it’s no wonder that the premiere had to be extravagant too. At the big night on Jan, 18, the stars of the movie (including, of course, J.Lo herself) along with some other familiar faces, got all dressed up to celebrate.
