After her sudden passing last week, Ivana Trump’s funeral was held at 1:30 PM on July 20 on the Upper East Side, where she lived for most of her life. Many of her beloved friends and family from around the world tearfully came to give their condolences at the historic Manhattan St. Vincent Ferrer Catholic Church.
Born Feb. 20, 1949, Ivana was a gifted businesswoman, skier, model, and author. Before marrying Donald Trump in 1977, she skied professionally and attended Charles University in Prague to earn a degree in physical education.
She later immigrated to Canada to work as a ski instructor and later as a model. On a trip to NYC, she met her second husband Donald Trump. They were both lovers and business partners, collaborating on many projects, like creating Trump Tower on Fifth Avenue and Trump Taj Mahal Casino Resort in Atlantic City. They welcomed three children named Donald Jr., Ivanka, and Eric Trump.
After divorcing Trump in 1992, Ivana developed clothing and jewelry lines sold at QVC and released multiple books. One of her most popular books was the bestselling memoir Raising Trump, which discussed her marriage and subsequent relationship with Trump in light of his presidency.
Tragically, Ivana suddenly died on July 14, 2022, from blunt force injury to her torso after accidentally falling down her stairs. She suffered from hip problems and had difficulty walking until death. She was only 73 years old.
Many people that loved her came to pay their respects. See who showed up and who honored the departed Ivana below.
