Princess Charlotte Growing Into Princess Diana: Lookalike Photos

Particularly in Hollywood, we’re starting to get used to famous actresses basically giving birth to their own doppelgangers. We’ve marveled at the similarities between Reese Witherspoon and her daughter Ava Phillippe, Maya Hawke with her superstar mama Uma Thurman, and so much more. But there’s something particularly special about a family resemblance when the family member in question is a beloved figure no longer with us — like the late Princess Diana, whose granddaughter Princess Charlotte has been reminding royal fans more and more of her glamorous grandma. Between her sassy declarations, mischievous grins, and already-iconic style (props to Kate Middleton for laying out these outfits!), the 7-year-old Charlotte is already well on her way to following in Lady Di’s footsteps.

TikTok users in particularly are realizing ever-so-slowly that Charlotte shares so many similarities with her grandmother. From their impeccable style to their gorgeous smiles, it’s hard to miss once you realize it.

We have no doubt that Diana would’ve loved seeing her family grow more and more, from her gaggle of nieces to her expressive grandchildren. She would’ve especially adored her grandbabies, and how similar her elder granddaughter looks to her. It’s horrible Diana wasn’t able to see all of this, but it’s a wonderful thing that Charlotte is inadvertently keeping her grandmother’s spirit alive.

Now, when Diana was a child, she was the spitting image of Charlotte. But even with snapshots of her as an adult show notable similarities between the lookalike grandmother-granddaughter duo.
