Dancing With the Stars pro Sharna Burgess has waltzed her way out of her first home in Beachwood Canyon, California after putting it on the market in late March. The dancer, who is in her third trimester with her first baby with actor Brian Austin Green, is permanently making Malibu her home as they start their family. She originally listed the 1,152-square-foot property for $1.395 million but was able to take advantage of the red-hot real estate market and sell it for $1,555,000, according to TMZ.
The two-bedroom, two-bathroom house was cozy, but perfect for a first-home buyer. Burgess kept it in immaculate condition with lovely details that harken back to its early 1960s beginnings. The home feels warm and intimate without feeling cramped, thanks to the walls of glass that offer a view from every angle. There is plenty of natural light streaming through, and surprisingly, more storage space than meets the eye.
The real selling point of the home is the cool Hollywood sign window from the bedroom — it’s an inspiring sight to wake up to every morning for anyone in the entertainment industry. Burgess wistfully said goodbye to her place on her Instagram page earlier this month, via Dirt, sharing, “I grew so much in this home, I loved and created and worked on myself sitting on the couch and looking at that view, dreaming and manifesting. Meditating and journaling. And now it’s time for someone else to fill the space in a way that serves them.” Check out her stunning house — and don’t miss more photos of the property at Dirt.
