Jennifer Lopez’s Met Gala Looks Over the Years: Photos

From the red carpet to the concert stage, Jennifer Lopez brings her A-game in the fashion department (along with everything else). We all remember the 2000 Grammy Awards, where she basically invented the demand for Google Photos because everyone wanted to see her iconic green Versace dress. Time and time again, Lopez arrives in dazzling outfits we daydream about years later — including her ensembles at the Met Gala over the past 20 years.

Lopez first hit the red carpet for the Met Gala in 1999, with her boyfriend at the time P. Diddy, known as Puff Daddy back then. Since then, she’s upped the ante with every new outfit, perfectly embodying each unique theme from the Met Gala.

Each year, the Met Gala creates a theme for the Spring exhibition that’s held at The Metropolitan Museum of Art Costume Institute in New York. Also known as the Met Ball or Costume Institute Benefit, the 2023 Met Gala was all about honoring Karl Lagerfeld with the theme of “Karl Lagerfeld: A Line Of Beauty.” And Lopez made a shocking appearance!
