As far as we’re concerned, there are two major historical periods in modern life: B.N. and A.N. (that’s Before Netflix and After Netflix).
Although the service has only offered streaming since 2007, we honestly can’t even remember life without Netflix. Remember getting home too late for your favorite TV show? Remember having to wait every week to watch the next episode? We do, and not with much fondness. We don’t even like to admit it now, but, yes, we did pay over $100 for the entire collection of One Tree Hill DVDs. Not to mention the fact that drawing the blinds and settling in to watch, like, 15 hours of TV in a row was not nearly as socially acceptable 10 years ago as it is now.
Speaking of bingeing, have you watched these series from beginning to end yet? Because if you haven’t, you really should.
