Since the death of wife Kelly Preston last July, John Travolta appears to be lightening his significant real estate portfolio. His Maine compound is selling for a cool $4.25 million after dropping in price by $750,000 recently, and now, he has unloaded one of his Clearwater, Florida homes near the Scientology headquarters for $4 million.
This waterfront home is definitely a party house with 6,162 square feet, five bedrooms and five-and-a-half bathrooms. There is plenty of room to take the festivities outside to enjoy the bay views, sip a cool drink on the dock or soak in the elegant pool built into the front yard. The contemporary home is vastly different from his whimsical estate on the private Islesboro Island in Maine, so we love how eclectic Travolta’s real estate choices are.
He and Preston bought the home in 2017 for $3 million, so he’s made a tidy $1 million profit off the sale. The new homeowners will also be neighbors with Kirstie Alley, also a high-profile Scientologist, and Tom Cruise’s downtown penthouse isn’t far away — that could be an interesting neighborhood barbecue.
Be sure to check out the photos of Travolta’s home, especially the most Zen bathroom to chill out in and you can find more photos of the property on Dirt.
