Naomi Osaka Is Waiting Out the Critics in Her Stunning $7 Million Airy Beverly Hills Mansion — See Photos

Naomi Osaka has had an especially tough week. After being fined $15,000 and facing disqualification for opting out of mandatory press at the French Open, the tennis star took to Twitter to announce she would be withdrawing entirely in order to prioritize her mental health. With reports that she’s now returned home to Los Angeles, there’s at least one silver lining: she gets to return to the palatial open-air estate she now calls home, where she can recuperate in peace.

“I think now the best thing for the tournament, the other player and my well-being is that I withdraw so that everyone can get back to focusing on the tennis going on in Paris,” Osaka wrote this week via Twitter. “I would never trivialize mental health or use the term lightly…I have suffered long bouts of depression since the US Open in 2018 and I have had a really hard time coping with that…I am not a natural public speaker and get huge waves of anxiety before I speak to the world’s media.”

Unfortunately, Osaka has faced backlash for her decision, and some less-than-savory fans are going so far as to call the tennis pro “ungrateful” and “spoiled” for withdrawing, though we think she’s simply setting healthy boundaries — as everyone should.

Either way, Osaka surely has the last laugh (and a luxurious one, at that) because she gets to go home to this beautiful $7 million mansion in Beverly Hills, which she actually purchased from Nick Jonas. (Click here to see more photos on Dirt.)

We’re so grateful to hear that Osaka has left the French Open with her dignity intact and gets to return to such a stunning oasis, where hopefully she’ll be able to get some well deserved peace and quiet.
