‘Super Troopers 2’
‘Guardians 2’
‘Avatar 2’
‘The LEGO Movie Sequel’

‘Maleficent 2’
‘Top Gun 2’
‘We’re the Millers 2’
‘Zombieland 2’
‘Pacific Rim: Maelstrom’
‘Pirates of the Caribbean 5’

‘Despicable Me 3’
‘Thor: Ragnarok’
‘Fifty Shades Darker’
‘Pitch Perfect 3’
‘Star Wars: Episode VIII’
Release date: Dec. 16, 2017. While Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, a movie about the Rebel forces who stole plans for the Death Star, will be out in December, we’ll have to wait a bit longer for a sequel to 2015’s The Force Awakens. The continuation of Rey’s journey will hit theaters on Dec. 15, 2017.
‘Amityville: The Awakening’
‘Trainspotting 2’
Release date: Feb. 10, 2017. According to reports, the sequel to the 1996 Danny Boyle-directed film will be based on Irvine Welsh’s 2002 novel Porno, the follow-up to his 1993 story of Edinburgh heroin addicts that became Trainspotting.
‘Insidious: Chapter 4’
‘Resident Evil 6’
‘Alien: Covenant’
Release date: Oct. 6, 2017. Technically this film was supposed to be Prometheus 2, a sequel to the Alien prequel, but 20th Century Fox and director Ridley Scott decided to go with this title instead. The new movie will connect the prequel to the 1979 Alien.
