Kelly Clarkson is selling her gorgeous Los Angeles family home — and we seriously can’t imagine why. With 9,839 square feet of living space, the $10 million home was custom-built for Clarkson and her family in 2018, and every feature looks perfectly designed to their taste. Clarkson treated this as home base along with husband Brandon Blackstock, their two kids River and Remy, and Clarkson’s stepkids, from Brandon’s previous marriage, Seth and Savannah. In fact, our favorite part of this house is the kids’ rooms, each of which were carefully curated to their kids’ taste. But with a gourmet kitchen, outdoor fire pit, pool, pizza oven, and more, there’s so much to love about this San Fernando Valley property.
Located in the Royal Oaks neighborhood, this half-acre property is home to mature palms, an outdoor pool, lounge, fire pit, and kitchen, and a two-story guest house (also complete with kitchen). While we’re on the subject of kitchens: while the outdoor kitchen and pizza oven is obviously ideal for entertaining, the main house kitchen is equally spectacular, with three islands, two dishwashers, and a La Cornue range.
Luxury continues with the master suite, which has its own fireplace, patio, walk-in closet, and lounge area. The main house features eight bedrooms and nine baths (plus two half-baths), and many are dedicated to their kids, their rooms transformed into play centers, music rooms, and more. Of course, there’s no end of entertainment options, between the home gym, home theater, wine cellar, and in-ground spa.
These features never cease to amaze us, but the true beauty of the house lies with how connected it feels to the outdoors. Filled with natural light, there’s a seamless transition from indoors to outdoors — the kind of house where it’s basically impossible to feel cooped up. The Montana ranch where Clarkson is quarantining now looks totally lovely. But again, why is she selling this stunning custom home?!
