Have you noticed lately how Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani just keeping getting more adorable the longer they’re together? Trick question — of course you did. This is why you were as excited as we were to hear the couple was going to take the stage together, well, their at-home stage, for the televised at-home broadcast of the Academy of Country Music special to air in lieu of this year’s ACMs.
Shelton and Stefani had planned to perform together at the ACM Awards, which was scheduled for Sunday evening but is now scheduled to take place in September due to the coronavirus. However, the couple still did perform for the special broadcast, but from Shelton’s 12,000-acre ranch in Tishomingo, Oklahoma. The two sang their No. 1 duet, “Nobody But You,” from outside while the fire burned behind them, so romantic.
“We are also in lockdown like the rest of you are,” Shelton said to the camera. “We happened to be in Oklahoma hiding away from everybody doing what we’re supposed to do. We planned on being at the ACM awards tonight, and clearly that’s not happening. We wanted to sing this song there, but we’re here,” Shelton continued.
But the show must go on — and on it went. And because we can’t get enough of the two lovebirds we decided to take a look back at their all-time best moments caught on camera. Join us in swooning.
