Lea Michele broke her silence after Cory Monteith's death by posting a picture of them in happier times on Instagram. "Thank you all for helping me through this time with your enormous love & support. Cory will forever be in my heart," she wrote in a heartbreaking message.

"I don’t even remember a time when he wasn’t my boyfriend," the actress told Marie Claire in December 2012. "No one knows me better than Cory.
