Angelina Jolie’s post-mastectomy wardrobe

The UK premiere of fiancé Brad Pitt’s World War Z film was Angelina Jolie’s first public outing since having a preventative double mastectomy. While we have a hard time explaining the beautiful actress’ fixation with black — it can’t be because it makes her look thinner (and Pitt seems to have jumped on board lately with Angie’s color of choice), she looks absolutely stunning in this Saint Laurent gown.

It was back to black for Angelina at the Paris premiere of Brad’s movie. After the premiere, Brad’s early 38th birthday surprise for Angie was a private dinner at II Vino in Paris (huh! That’s exactly what we did for our birthdays, ha, ha). The couple dined with six friends and sampled from wine and food paring menus. P.S. Who else but Angelina could make a high-necked librarian outfit look this sexy?

Angelina Jolie celebrated her actual birthday on the red carpet in Germany. She took a welcome respite from black and rocked this jaw-dropping futuristic Ralph & Russo dress. Jolie donned our favorite accessory of hers — her smile. In the past, the mom-of-six has seemed just a bit annoyed, if not slightly grumpy at times on the red carpet, but since her surgery her happiness is glaringly obvious. After this premiere, the couple took their brood of six out for sushi in Berlin to celebrate Angie’s birthday.
