Lil Wayne: What seizures? "I don't feel anything"
Lil Wayne's seizures not only freak out fans, they're a surprise to him too! The musician has opened up about what the health drama is like for him.
Lately, we've all read far too many headlines reporting Lil Wayne has had yet another seizure, but shockingly he's among the many surprised to hear it happened again! One moment he's completely fine, and the next he's waking up in the hospital.
As the 30-year-old father of four somewhat confusingly explained it to RapFix Live on Wednesday, "No warning, no nothing I don't feel sick. I get headaches real bad. And the headaches? I didn't get no headaches or nothing."
If it wasn't for his family, trusted friends and doctors he sees more often than he'd like, Lil Wayne wouldn't even know what had happened to him.
"I told them the other day, 'Y'all can tell me right now that y'all was lying', like 'You know what? We lyin' ain't nothin,' and I'd have to believe them because I don't know," he said. "I go to sleep and wake up in the hospital. I don't feel anything. I'm 100, I just hope it stops happening."
The tattooed man seen here was feeling just fine while courtside on April 29 — one day before he had to be taken to Cedars-Sinai in Los Angeles. He said in March, "The thing is, man, the bad news is I'm an epileptic, so I'm prone to seizures."
"This isn't my first, second, third, fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh seizure," he continued. "I've had a bunch of seizures; y'all just never hear about it."
Despite speculation that he's too fond of the drug codeine, Lil Wayne said he is trying to follow his doctor's orders to stay healthy: "He didn't tell me to do too much that a human doesn't do anyway. Sleep and eat right, that's about it."
