If we composed a list of Hollywood’s top 10 hunks, Seth Rogen may not make the list. But for women who dig a bit deeper and love a man who works hard, makes them laugh and is really smart, Seth Rogen is all kinds of hot.

Super good

If we composed a list of Hollywood's top 10 hunks, Seth Rogen may not make the list. But for women who dig a bit deeper and love a man who works hard, makes them laugh and is really smart, Seth Rogen is all kinds of hot.

Why we love him

If you thought “as if” when Seth Rogen played opposite Katherine Heigl in Knocked Up, you weren't getting the full picture. His subtle, bumbling, occasional stoner delivery is funny and adorable.

Seth Rogen

Born: April 15, 1982

Hometown: Vancouver

Height: 5' 11”

He's got the nerd factor

Nerds have a certain sex appeal because they tend to be appreciative, grateful and smart. While Seth is definitely rocking that vibe, it may interest you to know that he dropped out of high school. On The Daily Show with Jon Stewart, Rogen said, “[Kids should] drop out of school, smoke a ton of weed and then write a movie about it!” Since Rogen has been doing stand-up comedy since he was 13, we know he's kidding. In Seth's case, he has the intelligence and work ethic to be successful, if not the schooling. That's impressive. And hot.

He's a quadruple threat

Speaking of the most versatile guy in Hollywood, Seth is a writer, actor, director and stand-up comedian. We're fully prepared to credit him with the return of the rated-R movie. Just when we thought the inappropriate humor of Porky's and Fast Times at Ridgemont High belonged to days gone by, never to be visited again, Seth cranked out Knocked Up and Superbad.

Seth and Barbera

One might argue that once you've worked with Barbra Streisand, as Rogen did in The Guilt Trip, you have arrived. And how did he court the legendary diva who told him several times that his movies were not her “cup of tea?” By being patient. He told Scotland on Sunday, “I made two movies while she made up her mind.”

What did Seth think of Bab's demands, that included an 8:30 a.m. start time on the set, doing an entire road trip movie on a sound set and making sure the studio was within 45 minutes of her home? “She reminded me of my own mother, although my mother is more like the hippie Barbra played in Meet The Fockers. My mom's inappropriate at times and talks about sex way too much. She will post far too much information on her Facebook. But a whole generation of mothers model themselves on Barbra. She is the patient zero of Jewish mothers. And when we spend time together, we talked about movies, food and the stuff I usually talk about. She's not very pretentious.”

He puts the fun in funny

Seth is a member of two of the funniest groups in Hollywood — the Frat Pack and “comedy mafia.” The Frat Pack includes comedic big shots like Will Ferrell and Owen Wilson, and the “comedy mafia” is pretty much any funny guy who has been a part of a Judd Apatow movie.

Seth also has a gift for being self-deprecating. When it comes to his weight, he has said that awards season does little more than remind him he's too fat for his suits, and about his weight struggle, he says, "I'm currently at a weight where people look disappointed when they see me." What girl doesn't love a smart, hard-working guy who can make her laugh and laugh at himself?

Seth's relationship status

Seth Rogen and Lauren Miller

Actress and screenwriter Lauren Miller married Rogen in 2011 in Sonoma, and Seth told David Letterman he was “super nervous.” He tried taking herbal remedies to calm himself before the wedding, but says “they failed him.” Rogen told Letterman, “I had anxiety, I was cold, I thought I would throw up.” But Seth survived and honeymooned in Fiji.

Still very much in the honeymoon phase, Seth said something revealing about his home life when he described his work ethic in The New York Times: “I think one of the biggest things we (he and Barbra Streisand) have in common is that we both take our work very seriously — and we both want to go home. A lot of people are more than happy to keep working and shooting, and you get no sense that they like it at home. I love working, and I want it to be as good as it can possibly be. But then I want to go home and spend time with my dog and my wife and watch television.” So if you weren't in love with Seth before, does that make you love him just a little? We thought so.
