Cameron Diaz and Jason Segel to star in Sex Tape
It's a celebrity Sex Tape you'd pay to see!
Directed by Jake Kasdan, the comedy follows a married couple with kids who decide to spice up their love life by making a (you guessed it) sex tape. But alas, the two soon panic when they discover that the tape has gone missing!
If the title, cast and plot don't lure audiences, we give up.
Diaz and Segel previously teamed for the outrageous 2011 comedy Bad Teacher. In that film, also directed by Kasdan, the actress portrays arguably the worst teacher in film history while Segel plays a sweet but amusingly inappropriate gym teacher.
Though Diaz has tried her hand at dramatic roles in films like Vanilla Sky and Gangs of New York, she has fared better in comedies. The star rose to fame after appearing in such light-hearted flicks as The Mask and My Best Friend's Wedding. In 1998, she starred in the now infamous Farrelly brothers smash There's Something About Mary.
In November, the 40-year-old will take on the Ridley Scott–directed thriller The Counselor alongside Brad Pitt, Michael Fassbender and Javier Bardem. She'll also star in the comedy The Other Woman with Nikolaj Coster-Waldau and Leslie Mann.
Segel, who is currently stealing our hearts as the lovable Marshall on How I Met Your Mother, recently had a minor role in Judd Apatow's This Is 40. The 33-year-old will soon star as himself in the apocalyptic comedy This Is the End, in which the likes of Seth Rogen, Jonah Hill and Michael Cera attend a bash at James Franco's house only to learn that the world is coming to an end.
