Selena Gomez admits that even she's shy when it comes to meeting an A-list celebrity like Brad Pitt. She shared all of the details on Tuesday's Ellen DeGeneres Show.

It's hard to believe that celebrities get nervous when meeting other famous people, but that's exactly what happened to Selena Gomez before she met Brad Pitt at the MTV Movie Awards on Sunday. The 20-year-old was chatting on The Ellen DeGeneres Show on Tuesday about her performance of "Come & Get It" at the awards and her encounter with the World War Z actor.

The producers gave the former Disney Channel star a rundown of who was sitting in the audience when they told her Pitt and Channing Tatum were in the front row.

She shared with DeGeneres, "I was so nervous. Like that stresses me out, but it was fine. I actually had fun and I got to meet Brad Pitt, so..."

That's when the daytime talk show host chimed in, "It's more than meet Brad Pitt. It's a better story than that."

Gomez goes on to describe how the meeting actually went down. She said, "Yeah, so I was in my dressing room and I had just finished performing. They knocked on my door and they said Brad Pitt would like to come in and I was like, 'He can come in.' I was trying to play cool and be really nice."

The 49-year-old actor was just being a good dad trying to get a photo for his six kids who are huge fans of her show Wizards of Waverly Place.

She revealed, "He was like, 'Can I have a picture with you?' I was like, 'Can I have a picture with you?'"

While Pitt managed to grab a photo with Gomez, she forgot to get one with him and for a pretty good reason. She said, "It was a lot happening. He's so pretty…"

Gomez must have been overwhelmed by the entire visit because she told DeGeneres, "As soon as he walked out I ran and I hid under the craft service table for like two minutes because I couldn't believe it was happening."

Brad Pitt has that effect on women of all generations.
