Jennifer Lawrence is becoming increasingly bizzarre

Jennifer Lawrence
is a 22-year-old thumb-sucking, teddy bear–loving star. The actress, currently up for an Oscar for her Silver Linings Playbook role, caught photographers off guard Monday when she landed in London.

Seen here carrying a teddy bear through the airport, Jennifer Lawrence not only kept her fluffy friend close but sucked her thumb while cameras snapped away!

Was it a joke? Hard to say for sure, but in a few frames, a grin can be seen curling the sides of the mouth full of digit.

While thumb-sucker sightings aren’t the norm, Jennifer Lawrence isn’t the only star whose infantile habits have been captured by prying camera lenses. Rihanna, Kelly Osbourne, Susan Boyle, the late Amy Winehouse and The Hobbit actor James Nesbitt all have the habit.

“I suck it all day long… on the tube, the bus, watching TV,” Nesbitt has unabashedly said of his thumb-sucking. “Technically, I don’t suck it, I just feather it with my tongue… It sounds rude, doesn’t it? I love it so much… People stare at me all the time. Even my kids tell me to stop it.”

“I just have a very weird job,” Jennifer Lawrence recently told ABC’s Nightline of being careful not to take her stardom too seriously. “And if I remind myself of that, that it’s nothing more than that, then I don’t start thinking that it’s more dramatic than it is.”
