Front-row VIP: Top concert experiences
The next time you plan a night out to see one of your favorite musicians in concert, pull out all of the stops and plan it as an extreme VIP. If money is no object, then get ready to hit the event in true celebrity style.
Gather your entourage
A close group of fun friends who will stick by your side and make you look good are essential to hitting up a concert celebrity-style. Above all else, your entourage will truly be the key ingredient into turning a night out into a memorable top concert experience, so choose wisely!
Make arriving an event in itself
Why wait for your favorite musician to bring the tour to you? Celebrities know no borders or limits! Instead, make a weekend out of it. Charter a private plane to meet up with your favorite musician in a city you love to visit. Arrive early and set some shopping time aside so you can pick up the perfect new outfit to wear that evening. Top it off with a trip to a salon for a mani, pedi, styling and makeup session, and you will sparkle throughout the night.
Don't worry about parking
In true celebrity fashion, arrange for a limo to transport you to the concert. Avoid the crowds by getting tickets that allow for access to the event during soundcheck and a little pre-concert party. Watching any artist prepare for a concert is a worthwhile experience as it really allows you to get to know just how they prepare for a performance. Plus it gives you an inside track on what's to come.
Meet the band
Look for VIP concert packages that include time for you to meet the artist. You'll have time to talk briefly, get a photo together and maybe even check out their tour bus. The time that comes with the VIP packages can sometimes be crowded and short. The best way to avoid the crowds is to find out just how many meet and greet packages the venue or promoter has offered. That will give you an indication into just how VIP the concert is and if it's really worth the cost and time.
Find super-preferred seating
Seats within the first 10 rows are a must when you're planning your all-star evening. Box seats and bottle service are even better, as they offer the perfect setting for a celebrity-inspired evening. Backstage passes are top notch, as they give you a unique (and more personal) view to the concert. You're likely to meet friends and family of the artist — which may even lead to hanging out with everyone after the show for an unforgettable night and (most likely) lifelong friendships.
Recover in the lap of luxury
Five star simply screams celebrity. Move the after-party to your super-fab hotel room so you can kick back in comfort and keep the party going until the early morning. Then make sure you've scheduled plenty of time for recovery, with plenty of beauty sleep, room service and spa time on the agenda. After all, what celebrity doesn't come back from a night out without a cappuccino, massage and facial?
