Still gross, but congrats: Hugh Hefner marries Crystal Harris
It looks like Hugh Hefner and Crystal Harris finally made it down the aisle; Hefner married Harris in an intimate ceremony at the Playboy Mansion on New Year's Eve.
The 26-year-old bride sent out a few photos of her wedding to Hefner, 86, via Instagram. One showed the couple at the altar, smiling and facing the camera as if they had just completed their vows, and the other photo shows Harris in a stunning, strapless wedding gown. Hefner went simple in a black, traditional tuxedo.
People magazine reports that after the Hefner-Harris nuptials — and a little wedding cake — the newly married couple partied the night away at the Playboy Mansion's annual New Year's Eve bash. Hefner sent out a photo of him and Harris — she still in her wedding gown and he in his usual smoking jacket and sailor cap attire — with the caption, "Happy New Year from Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Hefner!"
Harris and Hefner were previously engaged and set to wed in June 2011. Just days before the couple planned to say their wedding vows in an extravagant outdoor ceremony, Crystal bolted and made tabloid news for weeks with speculation that she was dating someone else.
All is clearly forgiven since Hugh proposed to Harris in December 2012 after they reconciled over the summer. Harris confirmed their relationship in June via Twitter. She tweeted, "Yes I am his #1 girl again. Yes we are happy. Hope that clears up any confusion! Xo."
Crystal Harris has seemingly moved on from her runaway bride days. She tweeted on the morning of her wedding to Hugh Hefner, "Today is the day I become Mrs. Hugh Hefner. Feeling very happy, lucky, and blessed."
Congratulations to the happy couple and here's to many years of wedded bliss.
