Michael Bay debunks Transformers 4 leak

Michael Bay's setting the record straight: There's no way the next chapter of Transformers has slipped out to sources yet.

With anticipation soaring as high as Starscream, it's easy to understand why some people latched onto the news of an alleged Transformers 4 script leak earlier today. The news was blasting through websites left and right but Michael Bay stepped in to clarify.

We almost wish he hadn't... Paramount issued this statement from Bay to make sure our imaginations didn't run too far.

"Some Internet sites this morning reported that some document recovery guy has found a legitimate 120 page script of Transformers 4. I can absolutely 100 percent say this is completely false. The only two people in the world that have our unfinished script are (Ehren) Kruger and myself. Also we are only up to page 70 in our T4 script. Maybe this guy has a cartoon or something else – but definitely not our movie!"

So what if we don't know what twists and turns the Autobots will get themselves into next? It doesn't change the fact we do know Mark Wahlberg is starring in the fourth installment.

And hey — if they're only up to page 70 — perhaps there's still time to squeeze Megan Fox back into the plot.

Transformers 4 is set to hit theaters June 27, 2014 so be sure to check back at SheKnows for all the exciting news leading up to the big date like this artwork and more!
