John Travolta thinks "You Might Like It"
John Travolta and Olivia Newton-John give us a dose of Grease 2012 in their new Christmas video "I Think You Might Like It."
John and Olivia\'s new music video is getting some pretty bad reviews, we get the details.
Back in October, SheKnows told you about John Travolta and Olivia Newton-John's Christmas album that was to be released this holiday season. Well, not only is the 13-track holiday CD here, the two artists gave fans a music video to enjoy too.
In their new song "I Think You Might Like It," written by songwriter John Farrar, the duo gleefully performs the song as they travel home for the holidays. The fun ditty even has a bit of a country twang to it as one of Hollywood's most famous movie couples sing their hearts out.
The campy romp is a throwback to Grease with a few familiar shots from the movie making a cameo, but don't think that's all that's happening in the video. You might notice a famous face in there as Travolta's wife, Kelly Preston, and their two kids are also seen singing and dancing throughout.
In fact, no one can stop dancing at the airport where Travolta lands his plane — from the cop to the soldier coming home to grandma and grandpa busting a move in the back of the crowd. Everyone is happy that it's the holiday season and everyone's getting their groove on.
There's a lot of two-stepping and merriment going on, but we do have one question about the video: Why do Travolta and Newton-John cuddle up on the couch after "making love all night" when Preston is in the picture? Hmmm, seems like they forgot about the husband-and-wife team when they were casting.
The duo's album, This Christmas, is available now.
