Beyonce is once again proving that she can do it all as she is directing herself in a new HBO documentary coming in 2013.

It looks like Beyonce is getting real. While she isn't getting her own reality show, she is going to be the subject of a new feature-length documentary on HBO coming in 2013.

The multi-winning Grammy artist not only will star in this intimate look at her life, she will also serve as its director and executive producer, proving there is nothing the superstar can't do.

The president of HBO Programming announced in a statement today, "Everybody knows Beyonce's music, but few know Beyonce the person. Along with electrifying footage of Beyonce onstage, this unique special looks beyond the glamour to reveal a vibrant, vulnerable, unforgettable woman."

The film aims to portray both her personal life as a wife and mother and her public persona, with much of the footage shot by Beyonce on her laptop. She will give her fans insight into her childhood, how she manages a huge music and clothing empire, and her return to the stage after the birth of her daughter in January 2012.

In the HBO statement, the Dreamgirls actress said, "HBO has a history of pushing every boundary with class and authenticity. Some of my favorite shows are on HBO, so I am excited that my film will be part of its bold programming. This film was so personal to me, it had to have the right home."

The notoriously private diva has been sharing a lot more of her personal life with the public over the last years on her website. Her husband, rap mogul Jay-Z, and baby Blue Ivy are often subjects of her photographs.

The documentary will be released on the premium cable channel on Feb. 16, 2013. The timing of the documentary couldn't be better, as all eyes will be on Beyonce earlier in the month — she will be the headliner for the Superbowl on Feb. 3.
