The war in Beverly Hills is over as the Bravo reality TV couple, Adrienne Maloof and Paul Nassif, reach a divorce agreement.

Adrienne Maloof divorce agreement

There is a sigh of relief in Beverly Hills today as the warring couple, Adrienne Maloof and her soon-to-be ex-husband, Paul Nassif, announced that they had reached a divorce settlement.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star and her ex split in late July and subsequently aired their gripes to the press as accusations of abuse and irresponsible parenting began to fly. At the time, plastic surgeon Nassif claimed in court that Maloof, "denigrated me in front of my children, calling me a moron, stupid and dumb," and that she had threatened him with a gun.

Maloof fired back with her own stories of child neglect and claimed that he "regularly behaves in an irresponsible manner."

She felt that his gun, which she was accused of threatening him with, was actually a threat to her.

"Having a gun near the children, or even in my home, threatens me greatly," she stated in her filing.

The couple have three children together, 9-year-old Gavin and 6-year-old twins, Christian and Collin.

Fortunately, the gunslinging is officially over after the reality show couple released a statement to People that they are "both pleased" with the agreement and that they "want the best for each other and we're confident we can help each other make a continuing positive impact with our children."

Clearly, their divorce has been painful for them, but it seems they are both looking toward the future.

The couple said, "We're happy to be moving forward with our lives in a positive way, not only individually but as co-parents."

Now , let's hope that watching the marriage unravel on this season's Bravo show won't undo their recent progress.
